She is a very popular artist who has sold over 41 million albums worldwide and over 150 million songs. Born in Barbados, she was able to appreciate reggae music and began singing in the midst of her childhood. To escape the tensions in her family along with her parent's constant disputes and arguments, she began to sing. When she was in high-school when she started forming group and performed to be a part of Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was amazed at her abilities. His request was that she be relocated in New York and pursue a professional singing career. Rihanna jumped at the chance to take it. The album she released her debut album soon released and Rihanna became a musical sensation in no time. People of all ages were attracted by her songs with a catchy sound which had them on their feet, and this brought her into the movie industry. Nowadays, she's a teenage fan and fashion icon. Rihanna uses her fame to good use by being actively engaged in a variety of charities.
