Ana Paula Oliveira born May 26th, 1978 Campinas Sao Paulo Brazil. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009), and A Indomada (1997) are the most well-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira joined the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. The analyst she is working with currently overseeing the Assassination Witness project as well as an integral member of the GI-TOC's multilateral engagement team. The GI-TOC's research activities focus on assassinations, disappearances and other types of violence in the context of illicit economy. Her interests in research also include the effect of organized crime on human rights and the humanitarian laws and policies. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) with an LL.M. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her with an LL.M. Cum laude in Public Law. Ana Paula received a magnacum laude bachelor's degree from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She is a qualified lawyer, having practised at the law firm that focused on public law litigation for over four years. In addition, she worked in assisting posts at non-governmental institutions that are based in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
