Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a well-known American actress and singer. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. Bell is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Kristen was born in Michigan's Huntington Woods, to a Polish mother and father who is German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen discovered her passion for entertainment from a young age. When she was in 1992, the actress attended her first audition, and was able to win the role of Raggedy Ann and Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent prior to her turning 13 and she was cast in newspaper advertisements and television commercials. In addition, Bell started taking private acting classes. Bell played a small part without credit in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band and the drama club. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the high-school production that was The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended The Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. Bell quit university in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. The is the year she made her first credited debut as Pootie Tang. Pootie Tang (2001), however, her performance was cut and she was only seen in the credits sequence. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell was on her first Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson as well as Angela Bettis.
